1. Go to http://www.onlywire.com/thebutton to begin creating your button.

2.  The first step is to select the type of website you have.  Different websites have different requirements, so it is important to select the type that best describes your web site.

If you aren’t sure, select “Website or Blog without scripting Support.” Most web based site creators and blogs like Blogger, allow adding HTML and limit script access. If you are using a web page design tool on the web, chances are you are limited to only using simple HTML. This option will work in almost all cases.

3. The next step is to customize your OnlyWire Button. Edit the color, size, text, font, networks and other button features. You can read more about customizing your button here.

5. You will be presented with your customized OnlyWire button code.

For websites with scripting support you will be presented with three choices.  Use option 2 code for the most secure button. Copy and Paste your code into the HTML of your website. You can paste it between the <body> and </body> tags within your site code. If you choose option 3 code, you will need to fill in three pieces of information in the code: (insert url), (insert title), (insert tags).

6. Almost done. Now simply publish your website with the new changes in code, and verify the OnlyWire button is there. You should be able to see and use your customized button on your website. Some of the code used to create the button refer to resources on the OnlyWire website, so your website must be published and live before your viewers can see and use the button.
